literally one of my favourite jake and amy episodes of all time!!! amy was really prepared to give it all up for jake bc he had become the most important part of her life - no job could ever make her as happy as he does - and the last thing she wanted was their relationship to breakdown over her being promoted bc she knows what a completely jake-less world is like after florida and she hated every second of living in it!!! YET jacob peralta in turn would support her & her career to the ends of the earth allowing her to truly have it all! and it’s what she deserves!!! murder me!!! 5 years ago today he became obsessed with her forever!!
- also this is why she absolutely snaps when holt calls jake selfish bc her husband is literally the most selfless person she knows
- & it’s neat to know that BOTH of them would give up their careers for each other (“i don’t care if i get demoted, i just care about being with you”)…like that’s how much they love each other
